Starfish Island

Small Island Life

An island surrounded by thousands of starfish, hidden within a remote archipelago. This project documents one of the region’s best-kept secrets while exploring the responsibility that comes with discovery: how small tourism-dependent communities can welcome visitors without damaging the fragile natural wonders that make these places extraordinary.

Beyond the resorts and holiday image of paradise, Small Island Life will document the everyday realities of remote island communities. The project will explore how residents live, work, study, travel, manage waste, access resources, and sustain their communities alongside tourism. It asks how hotels, resorts, and luxury destinations relate to the people around them, whether local communities benefit from the tourism they help support, and what responsible development looks like when these islands are both home and destination.

MAB

following a City of Bogotá-funded community art project that uses street art to transform the spaces around major road bridges. MAB documents how local residents come together to reclaim neglected public spaces, making the streets feel safer, more visible, and more connected to the communities who live around them.

Fading Cultures

This project begins with a community whose language, roots, and cultural memory are carried by only a small population around the world. Through photography, it will explore identity, place, family, food, music, oral history, everyday life, and the ways culture is preserved by the people who carry it forward.

A visual journey through the Colombian Andes, documenting the views, roadside stops, villages, and towns found along winding mountain roads.

This project follows the quiet moments between destinations: small cafés, passing landscapes, local streets, mountain viewpoints, and the everyday life that appears along the curves of the road.

Skater's makeshift Skateparks

Manchester | UK

Once a commercial space, the site became a temporary home for a community of skaters, filmmakers, spectators, and photographers who transformed leftover concrete, rubble, and empty land into a place of movement, creativity, and connection. Through photography, the project explores how people give forgotten spaces new purpose, and what can be lost when informal community spaces disappear through redevelopment.

A black-and-white photo series following a single stretch of Brighton’s shoreline outside of peak season.

Through shifting light, atmosphere, space, and human presence, the project observes Brighton in a quieter, more everyday state, presenting the coast as a continuous rhythm from morning to night.
