This series documents the stops, villages, towns, and roadside views encountered while travelling through the Colombian Andes. Made along winding mountain roads between destinations, the photographs focus on the places often passed through briefly: small cafés, viewpoints, local streets, market areas, roadside buildings, and quiet moments of everyday life.

The project explores the experience of travel through movement rather than arrival. Instead of focusing only on major landmarks or final destinations, the series looks at the character of the places found along the way, where landscapes, weather, road conditions, architecture, and daily routines shape the journey. These stops reveal a quieter side of the Andes, where mountain views meet ordinary life and where each pause offers a small glimpse into the communities connected by the road.

Together, the photographs reflect on the beauty of the in-between: the towns entered for a short rest, the views seen from the roadside, the people and places noticed while passing through, and the way a journey can be defined as much by its interruptions as by its destination.
