CHINA
China was where my photography journey began.
At the time, I was a complete novice, still learning how to look, frame, and respond to the world around me. Yet many of the photographs I made there remain among my favourites. China offered an extraordinary range of culture, architecture, food, landscapes, and everyday human moments — and it shaped the way I first began to see through a camera.
Most of the images from that period were lost, leaving only a small fragment of the work I made. What remains is not a complete record of my time there, but a personal archive of where my photographic practice began.
